# Adding Your Team in Sitewire

## Add your general contractor, business partner, or builder to your project so they can help with your draws.

Teams are managed in the **Setup** tab of the web portal, and each team can be assigned to specific properties.

**Two roles**

**Owner.** Manage the team and all of its properties. Includes managing draws, adding and removing users, and everything else you can do. Right for a business partner, or anyone you trust with full access.

**Delegate.** Access assigned properties and capture job site progress. **Cannot see project financials and cannot submit requests.** Right for your contractor, or anyone on site who does not need to see your numbers.

**How to add someone**

This is done in the web portal, not the mobile app.

1. Sign in at [portal.sitewire.co](https://portal.sitewire.co/).
2. Click **Setup**.
3. Click **Invite Users**.
4. Enter their email address, first name, last name, and phone number. That email is what they will use to log in.
5. Choose their role, Owner or Delegate.
6. Send the invite.

They will get an email, set up their account, download the Sitewire app, and create a password. If they already use Sitewire, they can open the app and refresh to see your property.

> If they cannot find the invite, have them check spam and promotions.

**How a draw works with a team**

Only an **Owner** can open a draw request. Once it is open, either an Owner or a Delegate can pick it up in the mobile app and capture the required media.

A typical split looks like this:

1. You open the draw and enter your line item amounts, from the app or the web portal.
2. Your contractor, as a Delegate, picks the draw up in the app and captures the exterior photos, the interior video walkthrough, and the line item photos.
3. You review and submit.

Your Delegate never sees your budget or your numbers, only the work to be captured.

**If you are coming from our previous platform**

Team members do not carry over. If your contractor had access before, invite them in Sitewire using the steps above.
